Caffè Panna is inspired by the cafes and gelato shops of Rome that are a ubiquitous part of daily life in Italy. Caffè Panna places a premium on team culture in order to create a safe and empowering workplace, and exceptional and delicious experiences for our guests.
Born in to the hospitality industry and a family that loved visiting Rome, our founder Hallie Meyer has had a lifelong love of ice cream. Her passion was honed further while working in both a local Gelateria and a kitchen in Rome. She began selling the ice cream last summer in the South Bronx while working with students there as part of a year of service with AmeriCorps.
Our ice cream celebrates seasonal flavors, with five staples, and five that change daily based on what feels right for the season and what’s inspiring our team.
All our flavors are made in the Caffè Panna kitchen with help from delicious additions from like-minded purveyors. Our ice cream is churned fresh onsite daily, and is always offered con panna!
