Job Details

We are looking to hire an experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team of award winning restaurants! The Event Sales Coordinator will oversee booking private events for our guests, ensuring that each special request is carried out according to plan. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have great attention to detail, and possess the attitude and personality needed to be able to help maximize the sales of our restaurant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively solicit and book business for private events, adhering to all restaurant and company standards
  • Monitor and handle inquiry calls on a timely basis, answering with thoroughly detailed responses
  • Meet with clients to work out details of their requirements for functions
  • Escort clients through the property and highlight features and benefits of facility as well as available services; sell special event features and benefits to meet client's needs to maximize revenues.
  • Ensure BEO contracts and interoffice communications/paper flow, meets restaurant standards.
  • Maintain accurate event files, production reports and trace system, and ensure security and confidentiality of client information and restaurant data
  • Adhere to all accounting policies regarding billing procedures for clients.
  • Welcome group contacts upon arrival at function and ensure satisfaction and to solicit re-bookings
  • Effectively communicate and interact daily with all FOH management and Executive Chef regarding any event or client changes
  • Maintain complete knowledge of: Location of all function spaces and location-specific details; All Styles of meeting and banquet room settings; All on site a/v equipment/rental equipment; Current clients and accounts, including their history and future potential. Develop a plan and take action steps, to maintain these clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High-Volume RESTAURANT event experience is required
  • Strong presentation & communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Professional dress and appearance at all times is required
  • Experience in the restaurant industry is required; fine-dining background is a huge plus
  • Must demonstrate the ability to both take feedback & direction, as well as being able to be innovative and a self-starter
  • Ability to be a strong brand ambassador, and to maintain complete knowledge of and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
