Paris Gourmet is an importer and distributor of gourmet food and pastry ingredients located in New Jersey's Meadowlands. We serve restaurants, hotels, bakeries, manufacturers, casinos, cruise ships and others directly in the New York City area, and through a network of distributors throughout the United States.

Paris Gourmet is hiring a Pastry Chef-Technician in the Los Angeles area. 10+ years of experience is required.

Our Chef-Technicians support Paris Gourmet growth by:

Engaging directly with customers at a technical level.
Answering technical questions about our products, both from our Paris Gourmet sales team and from our customers.
Connecting their network of professional chef contacts with Paris Gourmet in order to develop opportunities.

Paris Gourmet currently employs 4 other Chef-Technicians, along with a larger sales team. The Los Angeles based Chef-Technician will work closely with our sales Territory Manager for California (Bay Area based) and our Corporate Chef-Technician (NYC based).

This position is perfect for a chef looking to transition from the kitchen into a dynamic and cutting-edge environment on the supplier side.

This is a salaried position with benefits including commission, expenses, incentives and full benefits including health insurance and 401K with employer contribution.
