Better Than Sex – A Dessert Restaurant is seeking a hard-working, dedicated individual who has a desire for personal growth and advancement to become an asset to our kitchen line. We are a fast-paced restaurant that prides ourselves on attention to detail and precision.
Job requirements will include but are not limited to:
- Knife skills. Decorative Piping Ability & Artistic Skill
- Willingness to take direction and uphold our standards
- Ability to maintain your station (the kitchen) as both clean and organized
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with other team members in both the kitchen and front of house
- Be able to adjust on the fly and adapt to the speed of the restaurant: We are a non-traditional restaurant and a non-traditional kitchen. We take all the speed, heat and timing of a normal restaurant and blend it with our proven methods
- The restaurant is an evening concept, so night time & WEEKEND availability is necessary. SHIFTS Begin at 4pm and are up to 9hrs. Must be able to stand for up to 9 hours and constantly be moving!
- If you have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and want the opportunity for advancement we want you
- Passion and Experience in baking and working on a kitchen line is preferred
