Mandu, DC's original Korean resaturant, is looking for an assistant kitchen manager to work with our team. This person would work directly with our executive chef, as well as co-owners/chefs Yesoon and Danny Lee (also of popular establishments CHIKO and Anju).
The menu at Mandu is heading in a direction that is exploring the history and rich culture of Korean cuisine, going back to even the dynasty era of the region. We will be researching and utilizing classic recipes while also impleneting modern techniques and current available produce and proteins to turn these ideas in to reality.
The assistant kitchen manager would be full-time, helping with prep, service, ordering, scheduling, as well as recipe development.
