At the helm of the team behind Aita Clinton Hill is Mayflower — a small speakeasy bar tucked away on the Waverly side of the restaurant, serving seasonal and classic cocktails, natural wine, and a rotating tap of local beer in a cozy atmosphere with no pretense. We offer an extensive selection of special spirits with a focus on minority-owned/women-led brands and an emphasis on Mezcal and Aperitivo/Bitters.
Our front-of-house team is led by Althea Codamon - formerly of Union Square Hospitality Group, Happy Cooking Hospitality, Crafted Hospitality, Jean Georges Restaurants, and Epicurean Group - whose many years of working in the kitchen, on the floor, and behind the bar have landed her in a role that allows her to share her passion, knowledge, and quick wit with the new generation of hospitality enthusiasts.
