The Pluckemin Inn, a Wine Spectator Grand Award winner, is seeking a knowledgeable, customer service oriented floor sommelier.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Help the wine director maintain an accurate and up to date wine list.Introducing and explaining the wine list to guests.Make wine recommendations.Pair wine with food selections.Take food and wine orders.Serve wine to guests throughout the meal.
Candidate needs to have a broad understanding and insight of all wine growing regions with specific knowledge of the following regions:California, France (specifically: Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone, Champagne). Italy (specifically: Piedmont, Tuscany), Oregon, Spain, Germany
