Expectations
The Kitchen Manager effectively and efficiently manages a kitchen within the policies and guidelines of the company to ensure guest satisfaction, profit maximization and development of high performing work teams.

Responsibilities
You will be successful in this role if you’re ready to:
- Proficient in all positions
- Proficiency of kitchen prep, procedures, portioning, and timing
- Ensure accuracy of all recipes and kitchen training tools
- Ensure accuracy of food, beverage, and paper orders
- Ensure accuracy of all inventories
- Product cost management
- PAR maintenance
- Recruit and interview new kitchen staff
- Kitchen scheduling and coordination with VGM
- Hold Sous Chef accountable
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment is required with responsibility for restaurant/store profit and loss
- Experience in providing customer service and a desire to grow in the food industry is strongly preferred
- Must have a very hands on management style and be actively involved in all daily functions of the store
- Required to stand for long periods; walk, bend, kneel, and reach hand boxes or food containers typically weighing 50 pounds or less, without restrictions
- Ability to develop positive working relationships will all restaurant employees and work as a part of a team by helping others as needed or requested.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
