Purpose/ Summary:
We are looking for someone to oversee and manage our bar commissary at The h, wood Bar Commissary in West Hollywood. Supervisors will work towards achieving Commissary goals and ensure that all teams within the venue are functioning well. We are looking for an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. Upholds a constant level of staff productivity, ensuring that the Commissary’s budget is not exceeded and maintaining health and safety standards within the Commissary. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced environment.
Summary of Duties:
Management:
- Coordinate Commissary operations
- Supervising all Prep Cook staff
- Set Daily prep list based oof previous night orders
- Maintain safety and sanitization standards
- Fill-In for Delivery Driver when needed
- Monitoring the Commissary inventory and ordering product as needed
- Enforce and use only the best quality of products possible
- Schedule staff based on forecast and performance measures
- Act as positive spokesman for company and brand
Bar Preparation Execution:
- Prepare all recipes according to The h. wood Group guidelines and standards.
- Ensure all needed prep is done daily.
- Prepares all cocktail items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by The h. wood Group.
- Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.
- Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
- Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment required.
- Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Adheres to proper storage and hierarchy of foods.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Bar Prep Supervisor.
Operational Execution:
- Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
- Knows to keep track of and report all product that is wasted.
- Must handle and rotate all products properly.
- Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, and safety.
- Maintain clean uniform and understands that they are always on stage.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all Company policies and laws, including health and safety standards
Expectations:
- Regularly work both in venue and handle admin hours
- Maintains professionalism and always acts as a leader.
- To work without constant supervision and willing to work outside the normal 9-5 with flexible working hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate business needs.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
