Job Details

High volume Chicago restaurant looking for Sous Chefs. Fast paced, high energy environment. Minimum of 2 years management experience.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and teach other culinary team members.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and use of all cooking methods including broil, saute, grill, sauces general food prep, proper knife handling.
  • Knowledge of ordering and purchasing products
  • Must be willing to learn, be reliable, positive and team-oriented.
  • Must take instruction as well as initiative
  • Knowledge of labor management
  • Ensure that exemplary standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen areas at all times
  • Complete knowledge of safe equipment operation and application.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Chef applicants should have sanitation certification
