Albi is the nationally recognized debut restaurant from chef/owner Michael Rafidi.
Chef Rafidi takes inspiration from his family’s Palestinian roots, bringing to the table an experience that melds the ancient tradition of the region’s coal-fired cuisine with local, seasonal, Mid-Atlantic ingredients and a refined culinary acumen. Daytime cafe, YELLOW, offers pita sandwiches, mezze, pastries which meld Levantine ingredients and flavors with classic French technique, and inventive coffee offerings.
Over the course of the first year of operations, the dual concept venture has attracted significant critical attention, earning mention as one of the nation's Best New Restaurant lists in Eater, Robb Report and Esquire, Eater DC's Restaurant of the Year, and inclusion as one of the best bakeries in Washington, DC by Food & Wine Magazine.
Albi is seeking a team- and guest-minded Food Runner who is highly motivated and passionate about hospitality. We are seeking individuals who have the desire to provide informed, warm, and confident service while seeking to increase their knowledge and grow as professionals. This position will offer an opportunity for the right candidate to continue to refine their craft, with the resources at hand to delve further into Levantine cuisine, craft cocktails, and a robust wine program.
