Summary of Position
The Operations Manager oversees service standards regarding flow from front door to kitchen. This includes safety and sanitation, quality and expediency of food and beverage, and guest relations. This also includes working closely with the General manager to supervise staff, inventory and maintenance of the restaurant and to manage day-to-day functions while maintaining and delivering outstanding hospitality and service.
The position assists in overseeing all operational processes at the business including management of the PCW, ordering/receiving and invoice standards, scheduling, training plans, and employee files. The role also manages service and service staff having usual responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management and upkeep of administrative duties for all employees
- Operations management including daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
- Working proactively, anticipating the needs of your guests
- Working with resilience and efficiency
- Communicating effectively with your guests and peers
- Maintaining ongoing knowledge of our menu
- Working together as a team to ensure everyone is set for success
- Overseeing ordering of non-food and beverage items
- Managing COG's and the PCW
- Managing inventories
- Managing repairs and maintenance
- Managing daily service
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook 365 and Excel
- Passion for food, beverage and hospitality is required
- Excellent hospitality skills and an ability to maintain high energy levels with poise and warmth in a high volume, fast paced environment
- A high level of personal integrity, professionalism and maturity
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Excellent math, reading, writing and communication skills

We currently require masks for all employees and we evaluate this policy twice a week.
