Botanica is an ambitious, critically lauded, modern Californian restaurant in Silver Lake with an extensive natural wine program, a provisions market and a seasonal, farmer’s market-driven menu. We are looking for a full-time pastry cook to join our team.
Applicants must:
- Have 1-3 years pastry experience, or culinary school pastry experience
- Be able to work indepently without supervision and follow detailed recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Have basic quickbread, cookie, cake, and caremel knowlegde, as well as an interest in gluten-free and vegan pastries
- Desire to work in a professional culinary environment that is based on respect, communication and sustainability
Duties include prepping desserts for evening service, baking and prepping pastries daily for our pastry counter in our market, and asisting with savory prep as needed,
Postion hours are for Wednesday-Sunday 6:30am-3:00pm
