Floor Manager

Our Floor Managers are responsible for leading our Front of House Guest Services team in the completion of daily work assignments and maintaining high standards for the guest experience. Maintains the highest level of guest satisfaction, staff support, and financial/operational performance. Creates an environment of trust and respect through empowerment of staff at all levels. Encourages high morale, fosters teamwork and partnering among all team members.

•    Ensures highest degree of operations and customer satisfaction.
•    Works with General Manager to build systems and processes to ensure quality and determines, implements and updates policies and procedures.
•    Ensures all menus and respective pricing structures are appropriately executed.
•    Ensures that all hiring practices, employee disciplinary actions, and expectations of the employees are in accordance with operating procedures.
•    Responds to guest comments and ensures proper handling and resolution of guest concerns.
•    Display excellent leadership abilities. Fosters environment of empowerment and partnership. Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills. Coaches and mentors direct reports and subordinates daily.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age. College degree or equivalent experience is required. Current Louisiana Responsible Vendor Server Card required. Effective communication, supervisory and organizational skills are required. Five years in food and beverage industry, with at least two years in a fine dining operation. Prior restaurant management experience preferred. Computer literacy required.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the restaurant. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and carry up to 15 pounds. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. Must have a manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including PC computers, fax machine and photo copier. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
