Sous Chef Position

Are you passionate about food and hospitality? Hops & Curds is looking for a Sous Chef to join our growing team. We are a neighborhood bar and eatery featuring regional beer with modern classic cocktails paired alongside retro sheek fare.  

We take health, safety, and Covid protocols seriously, and the candidate should possess the same concern for the staff and our guests.  Currently, we are open for dinner service four days a week but will be adjusting our hours and offerings in the near future as our staffing increases.  Brunch experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years minimum BOH experience with fundamental kitchen and knife skills.  

You will report to the Chef de Cuisine. and assist with the following:

  • Daily Production

  • Product receiving

  • Menu development

  • Brunch Program Development

  • Opening and closing of the kitchen

  • Development of kitchen team

  • Service execution.  

 

We are looking for someone with longevity in mind.  This is a full-time position scheduled up to 40 hours per week.  The position is open immediately, and we can move quickly. Interested parties are asked to submit a cover letter as well as an updated resume.

 

Pay range is 37K to 41k / year, and health insurance is available after 90 days.
