A World-Inspired Pan-American experience in West Loop, opening late January 2022 it's looking to develop and stablish our Opening Team for this one of a kind experience. Aikana is looking for:
Line Cook
Aikana Chicago will be open 5 days a week, operating for dinner Tuesday-Saturday, late night cocktails Thursday-Saturday, and closed Sundays and Mondays. Aikana won't be providing curbside, delivery, or pick-up food service.
Duties details include but are not limited to:
* Available to work a variety of days and shifts including weekends and late night
* Follow all prescribed portioning controls and levels
* Mantain food safety and quality standards
* Ability to read a thermometer correctly and efficiently
* Communicate any food delays or issues to coordinator
* Maintain menu items counts and communicate to managment and service staff when quantities fall below specific minimum quantity
* Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
* Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the employee handbook
* Get along and be respectfull with others
* Candidates must have clean and professional presentation
