Our Open Opportunity

The Pastry Cook  ­­­­­­­is an essential member of the Pastry Department which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about pastry!  The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years pastry & supervisory experience. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required in this position. Candidate must be open to coaching and feedback and be comfortable holding their team accountable. The Pastry chef will work closely with both the Executive Sous Chef on banquet and amenity creation and production. Additionally, the pastry chef will work closely with Celebrity Chef, Jonothan Sawyer on creating unique and exciting dishes for Adorn Bar & Restaurant.

The individual in this role will have visibility in the operations and as a character of the hotel team. Providing recognition, promoting positive public relations and handling concerns or special guest requests.

Some additional qualifications include ability to work flexible hours in accordance to business demand (Holidays, weekends, etc). Ability to manage team members to include scheduling, managing labor costs, disciplinary processes, menu development, menu costing, recipe building and much more.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate various electronic systems.
  • Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
  • Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.

Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
