Recently featured on Check, Please!, Izakaya Mita is a family owned Michelin Guide Japanese Bar and Grill featuring small plates of Japaneseu soul food and a Bincho-tan (Japanese hardwood charcoal) Yakitori/Kushiyaki Grill.
The ideal candidate will have and aspire to expand his/her knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverage, and be able to use that knowledge to guide our guests into the world of japanese izakaya. The ideal candidate will also have exemplary service skills, and a mind for the salespersonship that underlies great service. Certified sake professionals are always welcome! if not, we'll train you!
Additional opportunities beyond regular service are special pairing dinners with our sake forward beverage program, as well as offsite promotional opportunites.
