Under the direction of the General Manager, the BOH Supervisor will provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the BOH team. The BOH Supervisor will also contribute to the overall profitability of the restaurant by assisting the GM in effectively managing BOH labor, inventory, and controlling the food quality and kitchen cleanliness.

  • Accurately perform monthly inventories.
  • Assist in creating the weekly staff schedules and post with the approval of the GM.
  • Collaborate with the GM to appropriately resolve any employee coaching and counseling issues.
  • Complete Line Check, Temperature Log, Waste Log, and Hourly Sanitizing Checklist.
  • Accurately create and complete daily prep lists
  • Consistently monitor BOH labor costs to remain within labor budgets.
  • Follows proper cooking techniques and recipes for all dishes.
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and assist the GM with managing the ordering and receiving cycle for the restaurant and develop efficient receiving processes.
  • Manage the BOH to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Practices correct food handling and food storage procedures according to company and state regulations.
  • Reports all unsafe working conditions, operational needs, and equipment or aspects of the kitchen in need of repair to management.



Must have and be able to do the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of supervisor experience.
  • Experience managing COGS and Inventory.
  • Experience with POS.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Night and weekend availability.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.



This position operates in a restaurant setting. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met, with or without reasonable accommodations, by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Talk and hear.
  • Frequently wash hands.
  • Engage in heavy member/guest contact and stressful situations.
  • Tolerate varying noise levels, temperature, and illumination, and air quality.
  • Have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Have a normal sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound.
  • Respond to visual or aural cues.
  • Continuously or periodically bend, twist, lean, lift, push, pull, kneel, bend, walk, stand, stoop, and crouch for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Maneuver freely through all areas of the property.
