Taksim is a new restaurant opening in SOMA. We are currently in search of friendly, knowledgeable, a-oriented staff with a passion for hospitality. Taksim offers a team-oriented environment and a chance to be a part of a new upcoming restaurant.
- Experience in the kitchen of an upscale or fine dining restaurant (Preferably Mediterranean)
- Passion and pride for delighting people with food
- Expert multitasking ability
- Leadership skills
Expectations / Responsibilities:
- Menu development
- Maintain Company standards of food quality and presentation.
- Lead the team in preparation of all food items required for service on the line
- Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
- Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
- Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
- Hiring, training and developing new team members. Ensure standards and policies are available for staff to create and maintain a safe workplace and environment.
- Graduate from a Culinary Institute.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine
- Michellin experience
Compensation: Salary (Based on Experience)
