Job Details

Revolution Brewing is excited to start hiring additional front of house Crew for our Brewpub! Our FOH Crew works all roles in their assigned section with our update menu and style of service - you’ll serve and pull beers for your section while running food and bussing tables for any table you pass - we have less tables right now due to safely distancing our tables so we’re working together to give great customer service across the floor, whether you’re assigned a host or server shift. As a result, we have pooled tips that are paid out on your bi-weekly checks (so you won’t be walking out the door with cash tips at the end of your shift).

This is a part-time role, scheduled for 16-24 hours Friday-Sunday, so weekend availability is absolutely required. Average tips are $200 per shift, more on beer release weekends.

Our FOH Crew is knowledgeable about craft beer, has an active interest in learning more, and genuinely enjoys discussing beer with others. Folks are looking to come in and try Rev’s tasty beers safely and learn about new products they may not see in their local grocery store, and we’re looking to do that in the safest environment possible for both you and our guests. Key skills for working at the Brewpub will be organization and cleanliness. You also have to be able to keep tabs organized and keeping things clean and sanitized is critical during these times. While at the host stand you’ll be expected to answer phones, manage pickup and delivery orders, and manage merch sales.

The Logan Square Brewpub is located at 2323 N Milwaukee Avenue, off the California blue line stop and bus stops for the 56 Milwaukee, 82 California, and 74 Fullerton bus lines.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Must be over 21 years of age - no exceptions.
  • 2 years outside restaurant experience.
  • Experience using restaurant POS systems is a plus, particularly Toast tab.
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly and to maneuver heavier items such as 160 lb. kegs.
  • Able to stand or move frequently across a restaurant for 6-9 hours for a shift.
  • Food Handlers Sanitation Certificate, Certified Cicerone Beer Server, and Basset Certification are required once hired - if you already have any of these certifications please list on your resume. Otherwise you will be required to obtain these certifications upon starting.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($9.00) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $350
