Title: Kokomo Floor Manager 


Description:

Kokomo’s Floor Manager oversees the front of house staff which includes servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, expeditors & dishwashers and will create the standard of job performance through leading by example. You will be responsible for monitoring the quality of service and presentation in the restaurant. Our floor manager will coach employees to enhance guests’ experiences at the restaurant. At the busiest times, you will take on any task in the restaurant with ease, to help ensure a smooth flow throughout shifts. You should exhibit the ability to handle high-stress situations in a fast paced environment calmly and with good judgment. Our manager  also needs to be able to lead a diverse team, keeping them motivated while holding them accountable in meeting daily goals. Here at Kokomo, pleasing our customers and providing an experience is our top priority, our Floor manager is the embodiment of hospitality and service.


Responsibilities:

- Oversee staff during brunch and dinner shifts

- Manage floor ensuring customers are being served within Kokomo standards

- Address any escalated customer concerns or issues

- Assess employee strengths and weaknesses for development

- Execute the training of new staff based on Kokomo standards

- Schedule employees for their shifts and manage hours worked

- Build strong shift teams based on employee strengths

- Maintain and manage employee incentive programs

- Execute employee evaluations and corrective action plans

- Enter all new hires in our POS system - Upserve

-  Enter weekly payroll

- Provide senior management with weekly updates reports on  floor and staff updates

- Ad hoc projects
