Job Details

Brendan Sodikoff’s retro-style burger joint located in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook for Small Cheval at 1732 N. Milwaukee Avenue. We are offering a $300 signup bonus, payable after 30 days’ employment.

Small Cheval is a short menu of the essentials – cheeseburgers, hamburgers and fries. Guests have the option to add bacon, lettuce and tomato. Each cheeseburger is stacked on a toasted bun with two beef patties, melted cheese, pickles, diced red onions and Dijonnaise. Condiments are provided by Sir Kensington’s, a purveyor of all-American condiments made with all-natural ingredients.

 Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 years minimum of cooking experience.
  • Must have open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to stack, walk and move during entire shift including frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Will need a valid BASSET and Food Handler Certification for this role.
