Job Description


The Accountant will report to the Controller and will be an integral member of the accounting/finance department of Frasca Hospitality Group.  This position is responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions, accounts payable, processing invoices, processing checks, account reconciliations, monthly and annual journal entries and various projects and tasks assigned to the accounting/finance department.  This position includes a multitude of tasks and responsibilities typical for an accountant and there are growth opportunities within the Company to take on more responsibility in the long term.




  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Process company invoices from various suppliers and vendors
  • Record credit card transactions and bank account transactions of the Company
  • Adhere to Company accounting policies and procedures
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s accounting records for financial reporting and internal control
  • Handle various administrative and clerical tasks within the accounting/finance department
  • Assist with analytical and financial analysis provided to Company management
  • Prepare and assist with account reconciliations
  • Ensure vendors are paid timely and all accounts payable balances are reconciled
  • Address any discrepancies within accounts payable and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner in the best interest of the Company
  • Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external contacts with a focus on hospitality
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting process
  • Assist with various projects that arise within the accounting/finance department

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 1+ year of full-time accounting experience
  • Demonstration and understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting principles
  • Demonstration and understanding of basic financial statements
  • Self-motivated and capable of looking for value-added opportunities for the Company and process improvement with the accounting/finance department
  • Flexibility to work extra hours during peak periods and meet Company deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills with a thorough knowledge of excel and accounting software
  • Team player with problem solving ability and a positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • An eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the Company
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Company’s core values, objectives, and standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to utilize discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Must be available to work in Company locations in Boulder, CO and Denver, CO


Preferred Qualifications


  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Restaurant accounting knowledge
  • Experience with Restaurant365
  • Experience with inventory accounting and management
  • Experience with various tax compliance including sales, property, payroll and income tax
  • A thorough understanding of intercompany accounting and multi-location accounting


Compensation and Benefits:


  • This is a full-time, exempt position
  • Annual Salary Range - $50,000 - $65,000
