Peachtree Catering and Events is a boutique catering firm serving both off-premise and in-house events at our expanding list of venues: POMME in Radnor, PORTICO at Awbury Arboretum, THE WILLOWS in Villanova, and PARQUE at Ridley Creek State Park.

Responsibilities:

Manage, train, and schedule kitchen staff

Maintain kitchen and workplace cleanliness

Oversee food ordering and its production

Source food locally, and organically farmed, wherever, and whenever, possible

Maintain accurate records to review success of events

Control established budgets for both food and labor

Qualifications:

Experience: 3 years as an executive chef for a catering company or restaurant

Culinary proficiency in the classic French kitchen as well as knowledge of its modern application in various global cuisines

Leadership skills

Software knowledge: Previous experience with ReServe Anywhere (Infor) is a plus, and ability to understand and utilize software within an acceptable amount of time is expected.

Applicants should have a culinary degree and knowledge of FOH and BOH operations with three years experience as an executive chef for a catering company or restaurant. Candidates must work with efficiency, professionalism & awareness. We place significant emphasis on strong initiative and belief in the importance of attention to detail. The executive chef is responsible for collaborating with the planning team to execute successful events by attending weekly meetings and actively communicating as needed.  

The executive chef oversees all kitchen activity including and not limited to managing the food production, culinary budget, purchasing, menu planning, attention to food quality and presentation. 

Compensation: salary commensurate with experience, benefits include medical insurance and 401k retirement plan
