Job Details
We are a well established bar/restaurant in Brooklyn seeking a FOH manager to become an integral part of our team.

Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and capable of simultaneously managing multiple tasks. Be able to work in fast paced environment and provide exceptional service to the guests.

The FOH manager will work closely with the General Manager to lead the entire team and manage all aspects of the FOH operations of the restaurant. They will continue to build the restaurant's culture, leading by example and constantly improving our service with a strong focus on our guests' enjoyment.

What we are looking for:
-2yrs management experience preferred, lead captain/server looking to move up will be considered
-Excellent leadership, listening & communication skills
-Knowledge of general restaurant practices, procedures and concepts
-Strong knowledge of current craft beer, wine and cocktail trends
-Exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to remain focused and professional in a fast-paced and stressful environment
-Knowledge of NYC DOH restaurant standards and requirements
-NYC food protection Certification

What you will be doing:
-Oversee weekly employee schedule and their duties
-Provide continuous food & beverage training, tasting and education
-Ensure that established policies and standards are followed and maintained
-Build relationships with the restaurant guests and ensure customer satisfaction by prompt resolution of any problems efficiently and effectively.
-Provide leadership and direction to employees to maximize efficiency and maintain high service standards
-Maintain up to date training documents and quizzes for new and existing staff training
-Report back to management team
-Interview, select and train new FOH staff
-Contribute input toward restaurant improvement
