Job Details

San Francisco Proper’s new Executive Chef is Jason Fox, former chef/owner of Michelin Star restaurant Commonwealth. Chef Jason Fox leads the hotel’s three unique dining outlets: Villon, Charmaine’s, and La Bande. We are looking for experienced servers and bartenders to join our growing Villon team.

Villon is the San Francisco Proper’s flagship restaurant currently offering breakfast, lunch, and tea service.

At this time, we are anticipating an exciting re-launch of our dinner service. Chef Fox brings his extensive knowledge of progressive California cuisine to the property and draws on local ingredients and worldly flavors. Our goal is to build a team of restaurant professionals passionate about food, elevated service, and wine. All who are ready to create unique experiences for our local and hotel guests. At Villon we intend to provide create an experience where guests will receive sincere hospitality while performing excellent service in a dining room creatively and beautifully designed by Kelly Wearstler. We are proud to have partnered with The Bon Vivant – they have created a unique cocktail list just for Villon!

The Server is responsible for providing efficient service to all guests in accordance with hotel standards.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Must possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Must be service oriented and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess a desire to learn about food and wine. Wine certifications are a plus but not required.
