Supervisor Qualifications • Work closely with general manager on everyday operations • Follow opening and closing restaurant procedures • Manage and oversee front of the house staff as well as work closely with executive chef and back of the house employees • Assist with weekly scheduling of front of house employees • Ensure that restaurant follows health and safety regulations • Assist general manager with inventory and purchasing • Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards • Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests • Keep employees motivated, resolve conflict and make service decisions • Train and instruct employees Requirements • 1 year of work experience as a restaurant supervisor or 5 years of serving, bartending or host experience or similar role in the hospitality industry • Familiarity with restaurant management software, Point of Sales Systems, Open Table • Customer service attitude • Communication and team management abilities • Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, weekends,) • Comfortable working long shifts on feet • ServSafe certified.
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00)
