Job Details
Chef Matt Baker's Michelin starred Gravitas is looking for a Private Dining Manager to sell and manage all private events.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Receiving and responding to guest inquiries for information regarding private dining and events in a timely, hospitable manner
  • Showcase private event spaces and facilate tours for prospective hosts
  • Create and distribute BEO's to FOH and BOH management team in a timely manner
  • Liase with the FOH and BOH management team on private event bookings to ensure proper execution of events
Fine Dining restaurant expierence is preferred but not required

The right candidate must have:
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic personality
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A good knowledge base of event operations including planning, detailing and food and beverage.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Catering, Hospitalty and/or Private Event Sales. Preferably in a management role.
The Private Dining Manager is also expected to assist at times at Gravitas during busy peroids and Holidays.  This manager may also handle events sales at other Chef Matt Baker restaurants.
