PASTRY COOK for Le Crocodile, the NEW Wythe Hotel Restaurant (Brooklyn)

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join the Wythe Hotel Team of our French Brasserie Restaurant, Le Crocodile. Pastry Cooks will be part of Le Crocodile’s team a very exciting opportunity for an energetic, positive and skilled cook. Pastry cooks should be well-versed in all areas of pastry, including but not limited to Plated Desserts, Viennoisserie, Bread and Cake production.

WHAT YOU OFFER:

-You are knowledgeable of all aspects of baking and fine ingredients

-You have at least 1 year of experience in pastry with the motivation to learn more

-You exhibit attention to detail, time management and organizational skills

-A passion for cooking and learning about French cuisine 

-Interest in becoming a part of and embodying the creative, dynamic and unique culture of Wythe Hotel.

Le Crocodile is a New York Times 3-Star neighborhood brasserie serving earnest French fare in a setting inspired by our Parisian and New York favorites. Le Crocodile is located in Williamsburg’s Wythe Hotel, from chefs Jake Leiber and Aidan O’Neal of beloved Chez Ma Tante and restaurateur Jon Neidich of Golden Age Hospitality (Acme, The Happiest Hour).
