The Dinex Group, the restaurant group of internationally acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud, is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Epicerie Boulud - World Trade Center.
The Assistant General Manager at Epicerie Boulud will manage a team of retail specialists and baristas to ensure consistently exceptional customer experiences, while also overseeing the inventory and stocking of products and the overall appearance of the market in conjunction with the General Manager. They ensure that all personnel and systems function efficiently so that guests are satisfied, the business achieves budgeted profit levels, and employee morale is maintained.
Prior management experience in a gourmet food market, retail food operation or Café is required.
We are looking for individuals who possess a general understanding of retail and/or restaurant business operations, and an ability to train and inspire staff, commitment to quality, and the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. They will have an exceptional knowledge of food & beverage, creativity and flair; knowledge of business financials, and an ability to recruit, train and inspire a large staff.
