Trapizzino a highly-popular casual Roman restaurant concept was created by one of Italy’s most awarded pizza makers, Stefano Callegari, with locations in Rome, Florence, Milan and Turin.
The first US location was opened in New York City’s Lower East Side in early 2017 to critical and guest acclaim. Drawing inspiration from the classic enotecas of Italy, this location has expanded to included larger antipasti menu and wine offering. The successful candidate should have experience with restaurant openings and a desire to grow with an emerging concept.
We are looking for a passionate individual with a love for food, Italian culinary traditions and a passion for great hospitality to join our NYC team. Trapizzino offers tremendous room for growth. We are expanding within the NY market in 2019, with plans to enter other US markets in 2020. Responsibilities include: • Day-to-day guest interaction during service, opening and closing;• Assisting with the operation of beverage program, purchasing and receiving; • Assisting the development of front of house service staff; • Develop initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest counts;• Maintaining excellent restaurant hygiene conditions at all times Requirements: • Food and wine knowledge is a MUST. Experience with Italian cuisine and wine a plus.
