Franks Wine Bar & Frankies 457 Spuntino — the Carroll Gardens restaurants of pioneering chefs Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli — are seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and kind service manager to join our team. We are neighborhood restaurants at heart that should be worth the trip for anyone who visits from afar. As such, our management leaders need to understand how to balance highly professional execution and expertise with a sense of informality and warmth. This is an important and invigorating position, one that requires establishing the service standards of the restaurant, overseeing operations in the dinner hours, training and educating FOH staff, and general opening/closing duties.

Our ideal candidate is a natural leader interested in coaching our team members so that they become better at what they do. He or she should be able to keep track of all the moving parts and how they shift throughout a given night, and make the necessary adjustments from open to close. We have to make it look effortless.

- Minimum 1-2 years of management level experience in NYC restaurants

- Strong wine and beverage knowledge

- Excellent communication skills

- Familiarity with Resy reservations system

- Patience and an inclination for dealing with guests of all kinds

- Ability to multitask

- A desire for long-term career growth within the hospitality industry

- Must be flexible to work nights, holidays & weekends

- NYC food handler’s certificate
