Our busy West Village tavern prides itself on providing excellent customer service, and we need a passionate Dining Room Manager to ensure that our guests receive the best dining experience possible. You will be responsible for ensuring the dining room is ready for each meal service and motivating staff to be attentive and friendly throughout their shift. When necessary, you will also need to resolve any issues customers may have with the food or their experience. We will expect you to monitor expenses and create daily sales summary reports and other accounting records.

Dining Room Manager Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examine the dining room before each meal service and ensure it is ready with all the necessary supplies
  • Manage staff schedules and encourage top-notch customer service
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Create daily expense reports and sales summaries
Dining Room Manager Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of work experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
  • Extensive knowledge of front-of-house operations, including the financial aspects
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule
