Job Details

The daytime line/production cook is 4 days a week.  Friday-Monday.  Friday and Monday shifts are 9a-7p and Saturday and Sunday shifts are 7a-4:30p.

Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, well organized, and have a commitment to excellence. We are looking for cooks who are passionate about food, enjoy working with premium ingredients, often sourced from our very own Siena Farms, and want to learn more about Middle Eastern cuisine.  Sofra is owned by James Beard award-winning chefs Maura Kilpatrick and Ana Sortun.

Requirements:
Ability to follow daily prep lists and recipes
Perform tasks consistently and accurately
Prepare food for service
Cook menu items in coordination with rest of kitchen staff
Help maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen.
Must be able to work weekends
Work well with others and be part of a fun, positive work environment 

Compensation:

Average hourly rate is 22-23/hour including a portion of the kitchen appreciation fee

Benefits:

Full-time hourly employees earn 5 days PTO/year

Medical, dental, and vision insurance available for full-time employees after 3 months

We pay 50% medical insurance

All employees receive discounts on food at Oleana, Sarma, Sofra, Siena Farms
