High-end, 5 star rated hotel in Los Angeles is looking for a Chef de Cuisine to join the team! Known for its glamour and style, this hotel offers world-class service and an impeccable experience to each guest that steps through its doors. It features multiple different food and beverage outlets in addition to in-room dining and the CDC is involved with all components. 

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities: 
  • Create dishes using only the highest caliber ingredients 
  • Staff Management including scheduling, hiring and training 
  • Leading and Mentoring a strong team 
  • Coaching and developing the team 
  • Effectively Manage Costs and Labor 
  • Creating thoughtful food that fits the aesthetic of the restaurant 

Chef de Cuisine Preferred Requirements: 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Passion for both food and guest satisfaction 
  • Ability to effectively oversee Managers 
  • 3+ years minimum experience in similar role (Chef de Cuisine, Exec Sous, Sous Chef, Head Chef) 
  • 5 star and 5 diamond hotel experience a plus 
  • CA food handlers card 
  • Current Serve Safe certification 
  • Flexibility in scheduling including working nights, weekends, and holidays
