Acclaimed Michelin Star Chef, Mourad Lahlou, and the Aziza family are accepting resumes for experienced hard working and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Our rustic menu showcases an innovative marriage between modern techniques and tradition, highlighting Chef Mourad’s deep knowledge of spices and Moroccan flavors, serving dinner (Wednesday through Sunday) Opening up for Brunch Soon. 

Aziza Sous Chef applicants should qualify for the following criteria:
Requirements
- Management experience or experienced line cooks ready to make the next step in their career.
- Experience in ordering products and end of the month inventory
- Advance skills in butcher in whole animals and whole fish
-Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Receiving daily deliveries and checking for the quality of product received.
-Experience working in a professional kitchen
-Advanced knife skills
-Respectful to others, maintain a positive work environment with coworkers and guests.
NO EGOS
-Maintain a level of organization, sense of urgency, and attention to detail
-A firm understanding of kitchen sanitation practices and health department standards
-Current Food Handler Card
- Need to bring your own knives
- Culinary school diploma a plus
- Masks are mandatory

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee staff daily to make sure we accomplish our goals and projects
-Be able to work a station.
-Ensure that the final product meets the Company’s quality standards and is delivered in a timely fashion
- Places nightly orders
-End of the month inventory
-Set-up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
-Cook and prepare items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
-Report to Chef de Cuisine and follow all instructions accordingly
-Keep track, record, and restock inventory appropriately
-Break down and clean up station and ensure all leftover/unused food products are stored / restocked or disposed of properly
-Keep a safe environment by ensuring kitchen appliances and equipment have been cleaned and turned off at the end of each workday and by reporting any health and / or safety concerns or violations immediately to management
-Must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
