Featured in Washingtonian magazine's "100 Very Best Restaurants 2018," and Washington Post Dining Guides, critic Tom Sietsema says "Count me pleased" at Chef Tony's Italian and Greek inspired menu. Zagat calls Iron Gate one of the most romantic restaurants in DC, and James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Tony has been called one of DC's rising culinary stars. The restaurant features a locally-sourced and ever-changing Southern Italian and Greek influenced menu as well as a robust wine, spirit and craft cocktail program led by Spirits Director Nick Farrell.
Competitive candidates will have extensive experience and proven success in leadership roles at establishments with lofty food and beverage standards. They will be expert in managing costs, hiring and coaching employees, providing excellent service, and thinking on their feet. But we need more than just experience. We are seeking a hospitality expert who embodies the ownership mentality, generates enthusiasm among team members, and exudes an infectious sense of hospitality.
