Cote Korean Steakhouse, located in Flatiron, is the carnivorous vision of proprietor Simon Kim that blends together the dining experience of Korean Barbeque together with the hallmarks of a classic American Steakhouse. Cote serves the highest quality USDA Prime beef accompanied by an impeccable 1200+ label wine list and a suite of classic-but-creative cocktails. We are professionals committed to ensuring exceptional hospitality and service to our customers.

We are seeking to hire dynamic and experienced BOH team members to join our award winning hospitality team.

We are hiring in the following department:

Line Cook

Duties & Essential Functions:

  • Ensures the preparation station and kitchen are set up and stocked prior to service.
  • Prepares menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team.
  • Ensures that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at the workstation and meeting prep times for smooth delivery.
  • Labels, stocks, and organizes inventory.
  • Works efficiently with kitchen team members and complies with company procedures and food safety standards.
  • Familiarity with Korean cuisine
  • Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs).
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors.
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.
  • Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • Previous NYC hospitality experience preferred (2+ years)
  • Hourly compensation based on experience.
