Are you an eager learner, a conscientious worker, a thoughtful, kind, supportive human? We are hiring a Chef in Training to join the kitchen operations team at our City Ave location. This is a full-time role where you will learn to oversee the entire food journey in a vegetable-forward, scratch kitchen. This role includes a mixture of AM (9am-5pm) and PM (3pm-10pm) shifts with at least one weekend shift. No early mornings or late nights.

Some key responsibilities of the job:
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working in a fine dining kitchen. You should be well versed in the fundamentals and carry an open mind and a desire to learn. You should be a fast mover and the type who craves organization and order but can deal with the chaos that sometimes occurs in a small, busy kitchen. It will also help if you legitimately like eating Real Food. We prep and cook hundreds of pounds of fresh produce and meats each day and make all of our dressings and sauces in house. So, the more you love Real Food and scratch-cooking, the more this role will resonate with you.
About Pay & Perks
This is an hourly role that will pay between $13-$16 depending on experience. You'll get a solid 30 - 40 hours per week with no late nights or early mornings. You'll enjoy a delicious meal during each shift and the opportunity to grow into a management role should you so desire.
