Job Details

The Floor Manager provides inspirational leadership to our team of hospitality professionals. Ideal candidates will be required to have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in New York City/Brooklyn; exceptional service skills, proven leadership traits and a desire to be part of a quality driven team in a fast-paced restaurant. In addition, the role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Must lead by example and work with the team to ensure guest expectations are met

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Hiring, training, disciplining restaurant staff

Administrative duties such as but not limited to: inventory, opening & closing procedures, preparing deposits, cash handling and paid outs

Help maintain a safe, secure, healthy work environment for staff

Ensuring sanitation standards and procedures are being met

Using Schedulefly to create/maintain the FOH schedule

Enhancing Organization on the floor

Ensuring staff is setting up and breaking down restuarant properly

Confirming sidework duties have been completed by assigned employee

Ensuring guests are satisfied with their dining experience

Answering emails/managing reservations

Wine stocking/cellar organization
