Job Details
Hawthorne's Restaurant Group is seeking positive and motivated professionals to join our growing family of restaurants including Hawthorne's Cafe, The Cambridge, Tio Flores and WineDive. We are a family-owned restaurant group based in South Philly, and all positions have potential for upward mobility.

Position Requirements:
Host: 
  • as the first point of contact for our guests, the front door personnel must be friendly and outgoing
  • welcomes all guests, fields phone calls, accepts and organizes reservations
  • manages the seating of guests and assists in maintaining the dining areas and clearing tables
  • processes takeout and online orders
  • ability to mulitask in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • daily cleaning duties as required by management
  • knowledge of OpenTable software is considered a plus
 
Server: 
  • at least 1 year experience in a fast-paced, high-volume establishment
  • must be pleasant and outgoing with a focus on genuine hospitality
  • solid knowledge of food, craft beer and cocktails
  • ability to multitask and transition among restaurant roles
  • attention to cleanliness, safety and sanitation
  • daily cleaning duties as required by management
  • food safety traning and RAMP certification are considered a plus
 
Bartender: 
  • at least 2 years experience in a fast-paced, high-volume establishment
  • comprehensive knowledge of craft beer, classic cocktails and global wine
  • team player attitude and ability to transition among restaurant positions
  • attention to cleanliness, safety and sanitation
  • daily cleaning duties as required by management
  • food safety training, RAMP certification a plus
 
All HRG staff will undergo a minimum 5-day training program, and will function under a 90day probationary work period. Successful completion of training is dependent on demonstrated menu and service proficiency performance in conjunction with approval of the restaurant's training staff and management.
