Frontera Grill is looking for a wine focused floor manager who is self-motivated, structured and passionate about the hospitality industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 2 years of management experience. Ability to lead and motivate a team. A hands-on approach to a shift to ensure quality service. Extensive knowledge of/a background in wine is a must. Extensive food and spirits knowledge are a must. Experience with Micros, Resy, and Tock are a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Supervise and direct the activities of staff to make sure that our guests have an amazing experience through attentive service and an engaging culture of hospitality.
  • Analyze restaurant’s sales levels and profitability and create and implement strategic plans to achieve sales goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of wine pairings required.
  • Wine experience required with pairings.
  • Maintain guests experience by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage and service, initiating improvements, building relationships with guests.
  • Communicate with guests with varying levels of wine knowledge. You view finding the perfect wine as a challenge, and factor in budget, flavor profiles and guest preference to make recommendations that provide a next level experience.
  • Engage customers in positive dialogue to ensure return business and take and resolve any complaints from them.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures. Make certain that all fire, safety and health regulations regarding food preparation and serving is adhered to on a constant basis.
  • Energetically lead the FOH team, caring for the staff as much as the customers.
  • Perform restaurant opening and closing activities and organize management of repair and maintenance issues.
  • Monitor the quality of food and ticket times from the kitchen.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks.
  • Embrace the warm hospitality of Mexican culture and celebrate Mexican cuisine.
  • Promote, teach, coach the Frontera Brand and culture.
