ROOH Chicago is a progressive Indian restaurant in the heart of West Loop. 

ROOH Chicago is a modern interpretation of a cuisine deeply rooted in the past. An urban, Indian-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar. A communal space for relaxed social dining, ROOH Chicago draws its inspiration from the vibrancy of the culture, art and music, as well as the innovative spirit of modern India. Our food takes you on a gastronomical journey through contemporary Indian food with artisanal cocktails, dynamic wine offerings, and a concise, yet unique, beer program. 

The server is responsible for representing ROOH Chicago with the highest level of service and professionalism while selling and serving a fine dining experience.

Our servers work closely with the rest of the staff, both FOH and BOH, to ensure product quality and a thorough understanding of our food and beverage menus, along with inspiration and history in order to tell our story to our guests.   • 5+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service, elevated/fine dining restaurant setting
  • Possess extensive food and beverage knowledge, as well as a strong awareness of Chicago’s restaurant scene, with a constant thirst to grow and learn
  • Able to use Toast POS system (cloud-based) to process orders and bill.
  • Able to interact with guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
  • Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the station, the tables and restaurant before, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked.
  • Must have the ability to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends and late nights
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk at a steady pace for periods of up to 8 hours or more
  • Must have State of Illinois Basset Certification/Food Handlers Certification
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to serve alcohol in the city of Chicago
