We are currently searching for Experienced Line Cooks to join our team.

Job Summary:

Responsible for preparation of all station prep as they appear on menus or specials. Maintains prep and rotation of prep. Works in conjunction with Chef and assists with any tasks as directed. Responsible for cleanliness of stations, walk-ins, coolers, and mise en place shelves.

Time management, focus and accuracy are necessary for being successful in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of and cooking to proper doneness of all designated menu items that appear either on the menu or as a special and all accompanying sauce, dressings, and garnishes to assigned menu items.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness of the station, all walk-ins, coolers, and mise en place shelf, as well as accompanying storage areas.
  • Any additional prep assigned Executive Chef or kitchen shift supervisor.
  • Understands and uses recipe cards and production sheets.
  • Checks with Executive Chef or kitchen shift supervisor for any special items needed for that meal period, produces correct amount so that time and product is not wasted.
  • Promotes teamwork.
  • Shows active interest in self-improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience. Restaurant/Country Club/Hotel
  • Food Handler Certificate (Preferred)
  • Graduate of culinary school or apprenticeship program preferred but not necessary.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Exhibits professional attitude towards superiors and coworkers.
  • Position requires standing for long periods of time.
  • Work shifts including weekends and holiday.

Job Type:  Full-Time

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Benefits:  401K, paid vacation & sick days, medical & dental benefits available. Uniforms will be provided .

Weekends and Holiday required. 8 Hour shifts/40 hour work week
