Job Details

Chef/Owner David Kinch is looking for Line Cooks to join his newest restaurant – Mentone. To apply, reply to this ad or e-mail [email protected]

Qualified individuals should possess a strong attention to detail, organization and cleanliness. In addition to technical skill of a minimum of 3+ years of experience, the individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be a strong team collaborator. Candidates must have availability to work Wednesday through Sundays.

With a culinary program led by Chef de Cuisine Matt Bowden (Executive Sous Chef at Manresa), Mentone takes inspiration of the French/Italian Riviera and brings it to the California’s Coast line with a Kinch touch. Located in Aptos, California - the restaurant will feature a Mugnaini wood-fired pizza oven, full bar, on-site milled flour, and the fresh ingredients from small local farmers. Menu highlights will also include handmade pasta, pizza, cioppino, focaccia, and custom salames.
