The Lawton Family of Restaurants in San Antonio, TX is hiring sous chef(s) for their prominent restaurants. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand; assisting with the preparation and planning of meal designs; ensuring the kitchen activities operate in a timely manner; monitoring and recording inventory, and if necessary, ordering supplies; managing the kitchen team in the absence of the executive chef; adhering to and implementing sanitation and safety regulations; providing support to other kitchen staff with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
This position requires availability nights and weekends and experience in the restaurant/catering industry. A college degree and bilingual skills are a plus.
