JF Restaurants is revitalizing the historic North Fork Table & Inn property in Southold NY and seeks a spirited and experienced Property Director of Operations to lead our enthusiastic local team. 

Be part of the groundbreaking new chapter of the celebrated restaurant on Long Island as we welcome the community back to the restaurant, food truck, and new outdoor dining & private event spaces. Housing will be provided!

Essential Job Function: 

The Property Director is responsible for leading and directing staff in service and oversee the operations within the property. This role is the most diverse in nature as it encompasses management of a unique concept as well as having a greater understanding of the community.  

Core responsibilities include but not limited to:  

  • Leading management and hourly teams in providing excellent service to guests 
  • Meeting budgeted goals for revenue and cost control 
  • Developing exempt and nonexempt employees 
  • Managing day to day operations during scheduled shifts i.e. daily decision making, employee support, guest interaction, scheduling, payroll, and planning while upholding standards 


  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant supervisory management experience within a high volume, three meal period, fine dining restaurant, or luxury hotel 
  • Confident financial acumen 
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time andhave the ability tolift and carry up to 25 lbs  
  • Open availability 
  • Certification in NYC Food Protection License

In addition to the required qualifications listed above, we are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who is highly organized and an effective communicator with demonstrated ability to successfully lead a large group of employees while focusing on maintaining and elevating standards. We are looking for people who can work well with a tight, harmonious team and who can take direction in a disciplined and intense but supportive and respectful environment.
