Candidates with 2+ years bartending in an upscale restaurant are encouraged to apply! Additionally, a moderate amount of wine/beer/spirits knowledge is ideal, as is experience with craft volume and table service.
Bartenders at Vermilion do it all. Our nine seat bar is the cornerstone of our restaurant, but it's the lounge, with it's five high tops, large island, and three banquette areas -- that give the bartender a real opportunity to come out from behind the stick and shine. Mixing a good cocktail is paramount, but for us so it the passion for hospitality. We offer the full lunch/dinner menu at the bar and expect the bar staff to be up to snuff on their knowledge of both the culinary offerings and our steps of service. A true master of their craft, Vermilion bartenders understand that a good bar experience isn't just a well-made Corpse Reviver, but the company of the person creating it and the quality of the service they have provided throughout their time at the bar.
