We are the third restaurant from chef Ignacio Mattos, located in Marcel Breuer’s iconic building presently occupied by the Metropolitain Museum.  http://www.florabarnyc.com/  We have great opportunity here- reach out if you are interested in   our team!

Our menu offerings are wide-ranging, internationally influenced, and change often.

Those sucessful in the Server role with us are motivated team players with strong knowledge of, and a serious interest in hospitality, service, food, and beverages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing engaging and attentive service to all guests
  • Upholding dedication to focused work and customer satisfaction
  • Professionally hosting guests throughout their meal, and their experience with us
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant and its adherence to NYC health codes
  • Performing all other standard server duties as instructed 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years of experience in an upscale restaurant 
  • available to work on both Saturdays and Sundays
  • passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine, beer, and spirits 
  • an ability to learn and adapt quickly 
  • enthusiasm for our offerings and service
  • sucessfully study for, and perform well on food, wine and service testing
  • a positive, customer service-oriented attitude
  • excellent  communication skills
  • great attention to detail 
  • team-oriented
  • the ability to lift 40 pounds, and to navigate various floor surfaces,
